The transport of electrical energy over long distances raises the unavoidable problem essentially related to the stability of the link, the control of potential, the capacity of transport, the management of reactive power flows ... Achieving these characteristics and keeping them performing requires object processing (link) both in these system parameters (link structure) and in the control regimes (power flows). , the potential...). These last two points constitute one aspect of the research theme of the team. A second aspect is defined by the requirement in terms of the quality of electrical energy, which continues to be more and more determining in view of the complexity of the loads and their deforming characteristics. Two main orientations can be cited in this regard: in high voltage networks, the quality of electrical energy is focused on installing the required energy equilibrium according to a permissible frequency (one of the energy quality indices). ); in medium and low voltage networks; rather, we tend to comply with technical and economic criteria through the control of the potential of the load node (second index of energy quality) by, in particular, that of harmonic pollution, asymmetry, deviations, the various rapid variations…
